Hey I just picked up a 2015 Rcf and I was wondering what will sound better. Im looking for a more refined, non mustang-y sound. Will an axle back with the stock midpipe sound any louder? The tanabe medallion s is about $1k and a resonator delete is $150 in my area. Some vids of the res delete and muffler delete sound tinny and awful. I would like to stay away from a full cat back, the q300 seems too loud for my liking.

Axleback. Resonator delete has negligible effect on the sound especially under load. Ideally, you want a full catback for a proper sound and also power gains.

I put the Tanabe on my RCF. It does give a really good sound IMO. I really like the set up. Simple. It also is not so loud as to attract unwanted attention from police. Plus, it won't get you flagged at smog.

The Touring. I don't know the difference. I bought mine 4 years ago so I am not sure they had the S then.
It is an upgrade. Brings a much better sound when under throttle. Barely any drone. Very good when cruising on the freeway. Plus it is much lighter than the factory exhaust. I don't know the numbers but I changed it myself and the Tanabe was much lighter than the factory cans.
