I am in the market for a RCF and want the TVD. I am interested only in 2020 or newer cars and was wondering how I can tell if there is a TVD or not. I assumed that any car listed with the Performance Pkg had it but after looking at many cars and their photos most don't have the TVD button in the center console.

Is there a way to confirm this? Did they get rid of the TVD button?

2020+ RCF could be optioned with the carbon package with the Torsen as TVD was a stand alone option. In 2023, TVD had been discontinued altogether

 

So what exactly is the performance package?

 

For the 2015 - 2019, it was TVD, carbon fiber trunk spoiler, carbon fiber roof and the 20 spoke hand polished wheels.

 

That's what I thought. I guess those listings are inaccurate then as there is clearly no TVD button in the photos.

Was the TVD extremely rare then? I live in DFW and when I search for RCF's 500 miles out there is only one that has the TVD options.

 

Yes it was rare. Majority of the RCFs had the LSD and moonroof.

 

Early 2015s (like mine) did come with an option for the "performance package" without the carbon roof & rear spoiler. It DID come with the TVD & 20 spoke hand polished wheels.

 

There are a couple of dealerships in DFW that had new 2022s on the lots with TVD if you were in the market for a new one.
