Thanks Guys... Track Prep consists of:
Enkei 18 X 9.5 PF01 Wheels (Weigh 18.2 lbs)
Hoosier 285/30/18's (We had left over from Auto-Xing my Dad's Z-06)... (2 brand new, 2 barely heat cycled)
Carbotech XP12 Front XP8 Rear Pads
AFE Air Filter
Borla True Dual Exhaust
Thanks for the compliments, what you can't see in the garage, is that in addition to the 4 post lift in the rear bay. The Car is actually parked over a 'pad lift' much like that of a tire shop. I use the pad lift for Tires, Brakes & Suspension swaps.
Thanks!
Dave

Tell me more about the Enkeis - offsets please and fender mods if necessary. I've wanted to get a balanced tire set up for track weekends and 285's on all four corners wouldn't be bad at all.
Be certain to turn off the stability controls. If you don't, you might cook your front brakes - I did on my first day at Carolina Motorsports Park because VDIM will apply front brakes to correct yaw. The car also drives MUCH more predictably without the stability control interfering.

Thanks Lobux... Yeah, I don't use any Stability stuff... I even plan to do the 'pedal dance'... to remove the 'rear brake e-lsd' feature too.
You'd love these Enkei's! 18lbs in weight, great caliper clearance, 18X9.5 / 45mm offset NO FENDER MODS AT ALL! They are 'just' tucked in enough. Althgough I can't speak for a car that would be lowered... just for a 'stock ride height'...
Thanks again,
Dave

I've run with the pedal dance and got pretty severe inside wheel spin, especially out of turn 8 at CMP - on camber, bottom of 4th gear turn with a small rise and flat exit. I run OEM ride height because I haven't done the roll center/instant center calculations to figure out what would be better. I suspect the front could be about 10mm lower, but I'd rather know than guess.
I was looking at those Enkeis when I was wheel shopping not too long ago. I know they're light, not terribly expensive, and definitely strong (same thing for RPF-01s) so they're just about perfect track wheels.
Great to see someone else getting out on the track with their F!
