Per the request for a complete write up. My apologies as I am a computer and app illiterate but I'll give it my best shot. This is for a 2003 RX300 with factory Amp and NO steering wheel controls.
Pictures of the original radio/system are in previous posts and so is the New System source(Kufine on Amazon) as well as the model of the Power Cable with CanBus that was a direct plug and play
with the exception of the back/reverse camera which I have not installed yet. There's ample great videos on youtube(that's how I learned) about the removal of the radio and console so I will not butcher it.
But like I said, it's a true plug and play and installation was a breeze. Once you follow the system set up in the manual you are good to go. The USB in the cigarette light holder installation is also mentioned
in my previous posts above. The only tedious things to do is transferring the old radio and AC controls into the correct places in the new console. Do not forget the little bezel details and the LEXUS bezel.
Be extra careful transferring the control board from the old unit to the new console. It's just several screws that are easily accessible(take your time) then move it over and screw it down.
A word of caution when transferring the AC side vent grills. Be extra extra careful and make sure the louvres don't fall apart while transferring them. Again videos are available on Youtube. I would immobilize the
louvres by taping them in position before pushing them out of the holder(I did not and one came apart and broke - $15 at junk yard.
Here pictures of my finished upgrade and my daughter is sooooo happy. Thanks to you all.

I recently did a similar install on my 1998 Harrier with factory JBL system, but it has not been so successful, due to issues with the car and not the radio or connectors. With the factory radio I used to get a terribly loud buzzing through the speakers when the vehicle was cold in the morning that would die down when it warmed up. Eventually, the radio stopped working entirely, which prompted me to buy the touchscreen radio. I got mine on AliExpress from China. They sent several connectors and it took a while to figure out which one was the right one as the instructions were not great. After installing the radio, it didn't power up at all. I found out there was no ground at the connector, I guess that was actually why the factory radio stopped working. I ran a temporary ground and the radio powered up, but the buzzing was still there.

With the factory radio, turning the volume all the way down stopped the buzzing, then after driving for 10 mins or so the buzzing would stop and I could turn it back up and be fine. Not so with the touchscreen radio, so I have had to disconnect it for the time being. I assume the issue is with the factory amplifier. I am hopeful that I can just bypass the amp and connect the radio directly to the speakers, but I haven't dug into the wiring as yet to figure that one out. I haven't even located the amplifier as yet. It doesn't seem to be by the spare tire like on the Lexus models. I am hindered by a lack of a wiring diagram. There are significant differences between the Harrier and the RX300.

What do you all think of this? Do you agree that my issue is likely due to the amplifier? Am I likely to have any issues with bypassing the amplifier assuming I can find the factory speaker wires?

I broke both vents trying to transfer them over. 25 year old plastic is pretty brittle.

Default Help with Andriod Radio Install

I am having the exact same problem trying to install an android radio with back-up camera in my 2002 RX300. It has the OEM Pioneer amp (no nav, no steering wheel inputs, non JBL, non Nakamichi) and I cannot find an android power harness that will fit (i.e., with the input power coming from the 6 pin connector rather than the 11 pin connector). All of the android harnesses seem to be designed for the OEM JBL amp, that uses the 6 pin connector for speaker output. I was going to try to rewire the harness myself to make it fit, but I cannot find OEM Lexus drawings depicting the wiring/molex connections to/from the Pioneer amp. The OEM drawings I can find all seem to be directed to the OEM JBL set-up. Specifically, I am having a problem mapping all of the speaker outputs from the android radio to the Lexus connections because some of the OEM speaker connections are on the 11 pin, but apparently not all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone have OEM drawings for the Pioneer? Or any leads as to where I can purchase the correct android harness?

I don't think first gen had JBL system.

Pioneer or Nakamichi were the only offering.

We don't have wiring diagram due to copyright concerns, but at times members have added one or two images. I have been told that wiring diagrams are available on the net or one can pay for online service from Toyota TIS.

Please search on Audio IN to get the inside information. The audio levels are non standard in Lexus. Also Lexus uses serial communication to enable various sources.

I thought I had provided an update to my post. After much testing, I found that my issue was the JBL Amp (JDM models do have a JBL option). I bypassed the amp and connected the speaker wires directly to the Android head unit and it works fine. It took me a long time to find wiring diagrams for the Harrier, I found them easily for the RX300.

Let me see if I saved any of the RX300 diagrams I found.

Thanks for this incredibly informative update!

I have a 2001 RX300 and just had my fancy SIECANE (details below) touchscreen die after 1 1/2 years and reverted to the original radio last night, but yours looks simpler! Three questions for you:

1. do you see the outside temperature on your new display?
2. do the original controls still manage the HVAC settings?
3. does your CD player still work with the original controls?

These may sound like dumb questions but I wanted to ask anyway. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Seicane details of my failed system: I have SKU: 80094755-116006-107710-116062 9.7 inch HD Touchscreen for Lexus RX300 RX330 Toyota Harrier 1998 1997-2003 Android 10.0 Auto radio Car Stereo System with Bluetooth Built-in Carplay DSP Support 360°Camera DVR
