Default 2000 RX300 - Key Programming not working

Hello folks, I am trying to ignition program a duplicate key for my RX300. I have browsed the forums and watched the youtube videos on this topic and am following the below sequence for programming the key:
Close the doors -> press accelerator once -> press break once -> enter master key -> press accelerator 5 times & then break 6 times -> take out the master key and enter the new key to program -> the security light starts blinking and the blinking stops once the key is programmed (in about 60 seconds or so).

I have tried at least 10 times, and the security light keeps blinking even after 10 minutes and the duplicate key is not getting programmed.

Note: There is some issue with the door locks as two of the doors have to be manually locked and one of the window does not close from driver's seat, not sure if this is interfering with the ignition programming. I am planning to see a locksmith before going to the dealership. Thought of sharing with this forum as you may have encountered something similar and may guide towards a solution.

Best wishes!

Update - I talked to my local, highly recommended locksmith and he mentioned that, the only option to program a duplicate RX300 key from master key is via the Lexus dealer and it will cost about $500 or so. Looks like the $15 key fob from amazon may not be programmed using the tips and tricks of the web. I plan to check with couple more locksmiths to see if they have a way.

The key issue is finally resolved. Thanks to Brandon @ Access Key & Security, 6644 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio. He spent quite some time and finally was able to come up with a duplicate key for much less than what the dealership was charging. Just submitted below review on google and yelp on my experience. Thanks ClubLexus for helping with the research with all this sea of related information on RX300, there are many more DIY tasks that the RX300 has in queue.
