Location of Diagnostic port for Autozone
I was at the Autozone store this afternoon to have them do a diagnostic readout on my "check engine" light (they do it for free on cars 1996 and up). I thought it was the port at the very outside corner on the driver's side under the hood. The Autozone guy said that that was the Lexus Diagnostic port (which doesn't fit his device connector) but he was looking for another diagnostic port so that his instrument can be plugged into (he said it's normally inside the cabin) but he couldn't find it. He ended up telling me that I had to go to the Lexus Dealer to get the error codes.
Can someone tell me where the other diagnostic port is that will work with the Autozone diagnostic device?
Thanks.

The connector is there just at the bottom lip of the dash to the left of the steering column. You may see 2 connectors together. One fits the read out instrument (OBD II - On Board Diagnostics). AutoZone should recognize it immeadeatly.
To actually see the connectors, open the door and get out of the drivers seat. Bending over from out side, they should be easily seen.

Found it! Thanks for the tips!
I couldn't find it either and looked here first. After the tips from other members I found it - right next to the hood release lever. Thought I'd share.
