Default 2003 rx300 shifting issues between 1/2 and 2/3

Hey all,
Trying to fix this transmission problem and could use advice/reccomendations on things to try/check.
Fluid level is good.
Transmission shifting hard and sometimes hunting between these gears.
Sometimes transmission disengages and RPMs shoot high, but finds gear after releasing go pedal.
Sometimes better under hard acceleration than low.
Fluid and filter changed. Pan dropped, not flushed.
I have replaced the SL2 solenoid because it had a code. Thay was interesting, but another story....
I have reset the ECU and driven it easy around the neighborhood to help it relearn for several bouts of 15+ minutes.
I am now investigating the throttle position sensor as a possible contributor to the problem.
I also followed the throttle cable adjustment sticky, it was a little loose, but there are not many threads on the bolt left available to tighten it more.
TPS ohm reading is 131ohms at idle and 2850 ohms full open does anybody know the proper range of Ohms for this tps? Or know if mine is specifically out of range?

Tried getting a throttle position reading via scanner but my scanner measures in % not V.
I got between 12% and 77%.

At what point in transmission diagnosis is it time to cut bait an try a JDM replacement?

Thanks all!
