Do ECU upgrades really work? Why couldn't Toyota make a 3.0 liter V6 with more power in the first place? I checked the Weapon R website - it says that ECU upgrade is available for RX300 99 and up but they say that 2000 RX300 are "coming soon"????

Anyone installed an ECU upgrade with success? I am looking for increase in torque below 2500 RPM.
