armrest removal
I recently purchased seat covers from Rocky Mountain and would like to remove the armrests
and searched the forums with really no hits. Are the caps just pushed on? Are there any special
tools or tricks to get the caps off without breaking them? How are the armrests held on?
Any help would be appreciated, by the way the covers fit great they even modified them for the
side airbags, I also got the armrest and headrest covers.

For $10.00 per day you can purchase access to the factory service manuals at http://techinfo.toyota.com. You shoud be able to find what you need in those manuals -- you can copy all you want in 24 hours -- pretty good deal.

On the subject of armrests, has anyone found the driver's side armrest to be at all useful. I know the RX330 was designed with a woman in mind but she must have been a Japanese woman about 4'10". I'm not a giant at 6'1" and my armrest is way too small/short. Does Lexus offer a larger/longer replacement?
