Strange noise when running AC & Heat on my RX300
Hello All,
When running my AC, Heat, or fan I am hearing a strange humming noise? Have anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it? I know I need to replace my belts. I have 119k miles on the R300 '99.

You mean, you hear the noise when the fan is on, even with AC on or off? If this is the case, you may have some leaf( pine straw or something similar) inside the blower motor. Something small enough to get through the fresh air vent and get inside the blower motor.
Easy check, turn on the fan at high speed and place your ear by the glove box or under the glove. If the noise is more noticeable around that area, you will need to remove the blower motor to clean it up.

Yes, You can hear the noise around the glove box. Today my wife stated the noise was getting louder. How do you remove the blower motor or do I need to take it to the lexus dealership?

Before you start taking the vehicle apart, remove the fresh air filter and check to make sure it is not ripped or has holes in it. The filter will keep leaves and such out of the blower. If something got into the blower, the filter may have been removed. This is very bad as dirt will build up on the heat/AC excahngers.
Once the filter is out, look inside with a light to see if there is anything in the blower. A small mirror may help here.
