Come on guys .. I guess you never had the "crease" in my new leather dress shoes feeling.

Lexus seats are soft and the leather does flex more. Do a weekly cleaning, 6month moisturizing and annual scrubbing with a soft brush. Also drive with windows up, and protect the interior from sun. Expect creasing like the ones in our palms but if you keep the seats clean, the creases don't show that much.

I wouldn't call the Lexus RX leather "soft." It is rather hard compared to other leather, such as my living room leather sofa. My sofa's leather is very soft. After 8 years there's still no wrinkle, no wear, no crack, no nothing. And I never conditioned it.

I am talking about soft seats as compared to other vehicles ( I am sure sure there will be exceptions ... like your sofa). Do keep in mind the stresses are a lot more in a car seat and it is not a fair comparison, contoured seats that plant the driver/passenger in the same spot, bumps and sways etc etc.

But then I am a Lexus bigot when it comes to interior styling and comfort.

My peeves about my 99 RX

Black trim around the doors/glass on the outside (they have become dull)
Wide turning radius
Small gas tank

our 330 has a much much better turning radius than our 300 did. we actually had to get used to it when we first bought it to avoid parking lot fender benders.
