It's true that TRD makes a supercharger for the Solara (1MZFE). Two problems. First, Lexus has a VVT-i engine and the Solara doesn't. So the chip in the Lexus needs to be changed or modified. The chip doesn't exist for the RX300. Even if the chip is out there, it needs to be tuned for the supercharger. Even if you were to get past problem number one, the second problem is closing your hood. The supercharger has the same bolt-on pattern because they're the same engine, but hood clearance may be an issue according to people who I spoke to at TRD.

But who knows, I spoke to TRD about this over a year ago. Things may have changed. At the time, there was no demand for TRD to modify their existing supercharger for the Solara to fit the RX300.

I made the same inquiry to TRD USA a while back. TRD does not make supercharger for the RX300, but it's available for the old Toyota Sienna. I guess soccer moms are in a hurry nowadays.
