Default Rear bench seat covers

Has anyone picked up a seat cover for the back of their RX? My nephews are killing the leather back there. I've tried towels but they just slide around and don't look very attractive. I only need to cover the seat area, not the back rest area. Thanks for any suggestions.

Not leather, but neoprene.

Default Neoprene on leather

Any adverse effect of neoprene on leather? I can see cloth "breathing" but wouldn't the wet suit material make it very humid underneath and possibly cause mold or mlldew to grow? (I live in humid Hawaii.) Am I just paranoid?

Default

Neoprene does not let anything in or out, so hopefully moisture won't get trapped underneath. Maybe removing it on dry days to air it out.

What kind of damage are your nephews doing? Ice cream? Crayons? "Soggy-bottom?"

Default Sounds worse than it is

I guess I'm making it sound worse than it is. But their dirty feet and just sitting on it. The leather is sort of cracking in little spider-vein like cracks. I condition the leather once a week after cleaning with a damp cloth. I used to use a leather cleaner but I "cleaned off" the dye on my driver's seat before I knew the leather was dyed so I don't use the leather cleaner. I hate seeing it slowly deteriorate so I wanted to cover the seats. I think in a couple of years, when it gets really bad, I'll have to do the whole Leatherique route but for now, I want to preserve what I've got.
