did a rear brake job + shocks today on my 300 -- it's a 1999 w/ 55k miles.
Shocks were still in good shape, still the new shocks made nice
ride difference.

FYI: The Lexus units are indeed made by KYB (stamped right on the
shock housing next to the Toyota PNs etc)

As a shock install veteran (MR2, Civic/Integra, Miata), doing the RX300
rear was a peice of cake! Very easy and the spring is nice
and big so the spring compressor was easy to use for a change.

The rear caliper slide pins were siezed and looked cooked -- i lubed
em up and they seem happy now.

I'll try to get some pics up some time... the shock boots were
torn so I decided to order them and wait until I get them
before I do the fronts.
