Door rattle with stereo playing.
Has anyone had a problem with a door rattle when the stereo is on? With my stereo playing with about 1/3 of the volume. The forward passenger door would rattle under certian frequencies. Mostly deep bass ones. But not all the time. I didnt noticed it till this morning. As I tend to listen to the strero kinda loud.
It feels like something in the door is loose. Because while it is playing you can reach over and pull on the door arm rest. And it will stop.

Me too!
I have the same problem, except it is mostly on the driver side door. I noticed that when I pressed against the leather panel, it stops rattling. Could it be the window maybe? Who knows, but it sure is annoying. I planned on looking into it a little more as soon as I'm done with school. Ideas anyone?

For me, it is only the driver's side. In fact, if you were to open the bin on the driver's side door and were to push up against its top, the sound would also dissipate occasionally. It is quite weird.

Door rattle
When I took my RX in to the shop for some other warranty work. They couldnt find the problem. But its getting worse now that I keep checking it. I normally listen to my XM Roady. But I found a song on one of my CDs that makes the door rattle. So when it goes back in next time. I will have something that will reproduce it better.

I thought it was a feature! The stock radio makes the car vibrate, and you don't even need an amp or a subwoofer!
Now I'll make it seem worse: while you're sitting at a stop light, watch your side mirror. The whole door is vibrating with the music - not just the inside trim panel. Depending on the note and the volume, other parts of the car will vibrate, too, near other speaker locations. With some thumping low bass, the entire car acts like a speaker, and you can hear the sound outside the car!
Depends on your taste, I suppose. What some would call irritating, others consider "cool stereo!"

Door rattle
Mine is not as much a rattle. The best way to describe it is vibration. Only on certian frequencies. It doesnt have to be a deep bass. And it doesnt have to be loud. And its only the front PAX door. The others are fine. I will check my loaner next time I take my RX in.
