So Many RXs
#2
yea, i just got back from a trip down to philly in the RX and just about every street had at least 5, no exagerating either. I saw at least 5 Rx's in one parking lot (3 - 330's and 2 - 300, one of them was ours). There are a lot of them for a good reason though.

I got my RX 330 right after they came out in the beginning of April 2003. I must admit it was kind of nice at that time to see that there were so very few on the road. Everywhere I drove the RX got looks. Now when I drive it seems like they are everywhere and I'm just one of the gang. Oh well.....it was nice while it lasted!

Here in Saint Louis, MO there are not as many RX330. It is kind of nice because I am the only one driving it on the road. Everyone here drives Chevys and Fords.

that is the most rediculous thing to say.
The RX is a great buy. When I set out to buy a car, I said I was not going to buy an RX because there were so many of them around. However when I started to compare the competition, logic kept bringing me back to the RX. I couldn’t find another car like the RX that delivered so much for the price and give me great dependability ratings to boot. I can guess that’s why we see so damn many of them on the road, we’re not the only ones who have come to this conclusion.
Now, we already own one so it’s OK to say this, but with the demand for the RX so high, it just stands to reason that it can withstand a price increase and not have it adversely affect their sales. It can only help our resale value, right? Does anyone know if they increased the base price on the 05’s? I guess we will have to wait and see.

I started noticing a lot of RX's on the road after I got my 3yr old RX300 few months, now that is a good thing for me because as soon as I finish paying for my RX.. I am changing for used RX330 .. there will be many to choose from. As far as price is concerned, I think it just about right (used or new), anything more then I would be looking at other nice looking SUVs on the market for instance FX35/45, MDX, X3/5.
My 2cents worth.

Just like someone mentioned, do you know how many RX's are on the road everyday?
It's like menholes on the street, or pass a people who wears a eyeglasses, or more than mailboxes every corner of the street. IN NYC I'M TALKING ABOUT. And I am happen to be one of them

What? Whoooooo?
Took a long trip through Colorado, Wyoming and the PNW in the spring of 2000 with my new RX. While a lot of people ignored me, most places I got more stares than a treeful of owls!

Lots of RX in the Rocky Mtn Front Range. (from Cheyenne to Colorado Springs.)
If you want attention, drive through Southwestern Kansas. Everybody drives 20-year-old Ford or Chevy there. I always get a mob of people surrounding my RX300 every time I stop. Not a hostile crowd, they were just curious.
And the auto-leveling HID really freak them out.
