How to fix squealing brakes
I am losing my mind trying to stop my RX front brakes from squealing.
The noise is coming from my drivers side front. To try to fix the problem I put on new Toyota Pads and they still squealed, so I put on some Anti-Squeal "grease" that came in little blue packets. Even though the pads are now cemented in the rubber goop THEY STILL SQUEAL. I verified I put the shims in correctly.
Does anyone have a fix for this very embarrasing issue.
It only happens if I'm coming to a stop slowly. Never when I slam on the brakes or pulsate them.

Noise
Man, I would have said to check the pads, but since you replaced them with new ones the squeaking presumably should have gone away. Did you spray down the rotors with brake cleaner when you were changing the pads? Sometimes metal residue could cause it too.
Did you check for proper clearance of the rotor shields to make sure they're not rubbing up against anything? Also, you're sure they're the fronts and not the backs making the noise?
What you did should have stopped the problem.
Good luck finding and fixing.
