Question Resetting Airbag light on dashboard

After a light accident (left front) the airbags were activated. They are replaced and the damage is fixed. However the airbaglight on the dashboard is still shining. I asked the Lexus garage to reset this light but they told me after trying that it didn't worked because of a error-code 30135. This could mean 2 things. Or the airbag-cable is damaged or the airbag sensor has to be replaced. They gave me the advice to replace first the sensor because they can not check the cable itself. Does someone know if the sensor has to be replacerd after a damage? The sensor looks oke!
Kind regards from tje Netherlands.

I took a slight hit from the rear and the airbags did not deploy but the light came on. I'm still trying to find out what caused this...
