>>>>please tell me if you are aware of the problem
Yes - I'm aware of the noise. I've been told my my tech advisor its noisy fuel injectors, so its not really a "problem"....but a nusance (like the dash ticking or the tranny clunk which have both been fixed).
Call Lexus and voice your feedback. If enough people call it a "problem", they'll get around to addressing it. It bothers me, my wife doesn't hear it.
For what its worth...In the summer, it was non-existant on my RX. But as the weather gets colder, I'm starting to hear it again although it seems quieter than before...
>>...or the solution
Play a nice CD while we wait to hear from Lexus :-)

There are 2 servos that have to do with the A/C they are behind the dash one or both have to be replaced. Take it to the dealer have it diagnosed so the can find which servo is acting up. Replaced one earlier this week, it was one that was behind the glove compartment area. LEXus + TECHnician = LEXTECH = me

Aren't servos only for small controlled movements rather than constant rotational motion?
If I'm reading the post correctly, the problem shikbas describes is a constant sound rather than an occassional sound (like when the AC kicks on or off, or the AC shifts from floor vents to front vents, etc...). And the his sound exists with the AC off and the Fan off.
If the clicking was only when something changed, then its probably servo related. But if its a constant noise, I would think it would be something like a fan motor, belt, or (as my dealership diagnosed), noisy fuel-injectors.
Does that make sense, or am I totally off base?

I just got my RX300 back today from the dealer. One of the things they fixed was my clicking noise for the glove box. With the car running and in park. With the stereo and A/C off. You would hear a clicking noise. And a running noise. The best way I can descricbe the running noise. Is the noise a hamster makes while on the wheel in their cage. It would speed up. And then slow down. They replaced the Servo S.A. Damper.
LEXTECH had a question. Do you have to take the dash off to change these?
