had my 2002 RX 300 in for servicing today(routine oil change) and the tech had left a plastic piece in the car so we had him put it back where it belonged. It went into the back portion of the glovebox - what's back there that he would have had to access? Computer diagnostics hookup or air filter? We only had an oil change and filter done. Just curious what they were doing back there. TIA

I've also got a 2002 RX300 and I'm 100% sure it's the cabin air filter. The Lexus recommendation is replacement every 18 months/15K-mi and I concur with that. Mine picked up all sorts of pine needles, tree and weed seeds, and stuff like that.
