How hot do your heated seats get?
Recently bought a 2001 RX300 and the factory warranty expires in 200 miles. I want to find any problems while I still have a warranty and think the heated seats aren't working properly. On high, the drivers seat gets luke warm and the passenger's seat does a little worse. By comparison, the heated seats in both my BMW and Audi get so hot you have to turn them down (especially the BMW).
How hot do your seats get? Is this the best the RX300 does? Or do I have a problem?

I have 2001 RX300, the seats feel warm when on "high", but on "low" it is not much warm. I am not sure if mine is normal. My friends Golf and BMW x5 both feel really hot when when on.

The RX300 seats get warm, but not to the point where they're too warm and need to be turned down. I think there's some sort of thermostat that lets them reach a certain temperature, and then it automatically backs off the power. I had a 90 minute commute, and I could feel the seat cycle through warm periods and periods where the heater "cooled down". The high/low switch in the '01-'03 helped a little, but didn't completely change things. Personally, I would have preferred them to get a little warmer.
In comparison, I think the RX330 gets a lot warmer. I've never used the heater with the **** turned all the way to the max... I've found that 2/3 of the way around is more than enough. The 330 is also more consistent... the temperature stays up in relation to the setting on the ****. I haven't experienced the up-and-down like the 300.
