I have a 2000RX with 84K. The other day I started the car after filling up with gas and much of the display was blank. No outside temp or climate control information or mpg, etc. The only thing showing was the time and the radio station info. I cycled thru all the climate control stuff and it was working but not showing up on the screen. Stopped and restarted a couple of times with no change. Got home and forgot about it for the night. Next morning, everything back to normal. Is this a sign of bad things to come?

This happend to me on my 01 once when it was new. After I shut it off for about 30 min and restarted problem was gone and never came back.

It is one of the infrequent , frequent problem. Things get reset once the RX is turned off and key is removed. [I am not too sure if the removal of key is the reset operation or just power-cycle is enough].

Any one wants to guess which "os" is used by RX ecu?

This is happening to my 2000 RX, intermittently, but also when it's in this mode the door lock won't work (except for the tailgate lock) and when left like this without driving for several days it drains the battery. Help!
