Default Destined for a rebuild

Saw this car at a salvage yard. With a little skilled work, this could be a great car again. You also should look at the other ride they have and see how much they're worth after a wreck. Interesting stuff...

Looks like at least $10K in damage, and that is not counting what we can't see. That puts this car over $20K total since they want $12K for it. One thing a few body shops mentioned to me when talking about rebuilding a car. If it was worth it for them to rebuild and sell for a profit, they would do it. Provided there is no frame or unibody damage, it might make a good DIY project for a skilled person though. The car already has a salvage title, so even if it gets fixed right, I don't think that car is worth anywhere near $20K with a salvage title.
