What is a good price on a fully loaded RX 300 SS?
My dealer quoted me 42,500 before discounts
Comments would be greatly appreciated

fully loaded as in with navigation or without? the invoice is $34500,(w/o nav) so a reasonable price would be around $36-$37. With nav add $2K

That sounds about right for the SS package with AWD and Nav, but i'm not sure if you will be able to get nav with the SS package. He definantly quoted you an MSRP and you should be able to get a better price than that.

I checked on Lexus.com and the SS package includes the following:

Silversport Special Edition : with Additional Options
Perforated Leather Trimmed Seats and Steering Wheel, Electrochromic Outside Mirrors and Inside Rear View Mirror, Electric Garage Door Opener, Memory Driver's Seat, 6 Disc In-Dash CD Auto Changer, One Touch Open/Close Moonroof, Brushed Aluminum Interior Tr
- Tow Hitch Receiver

$3,115.00

PACKAGE SAVINGS: $1,800.00

I also added some other accessories and below is what I came up with. I hope this gives you a better idea. I tried to add everything I could to the SS to see how much the price would go up and below is about it. I couldn't add nav with this package. This one is AWD.

Marla,
I've got mine couple of weeks ago. SS edition AWD w/o Nav, w/o upgrade stereo. MSRP was 42k and change. I went to priceline.com and made the bid at 36k. One of the local dealer offer me silver color at 37600 which I took the offer. You might do better depending on your area.

Marla,
I see that you are from Baltimore. I bought mine from Maryland area. I'm sure the sales rep. that I dealt with can give you similar price or better. If you are interested email me at ztech7409@yahoo.com and I'll will give you the number of the sales rep.

Marla:

I got mine for 40k in the SF Bay Area. It's a fully loaded Black/Black AWD, with nav and all the options except for the audio upgrade. I don't think there's anything else I could have added - except maybe the hitch.

I could have probably gotten it a little it a little lower if I went through Priceline. However, this combination seems to be hard to come by - so I thought I was getting a good deal - and still do.

Thank you to all the people that replied to my post.
I ended up getting the Silver Sport fully loaded with navigation for 40,000 so I am happy with that

Marla G, glad to hear you have your RX now, congradulations. You also have nav seems like it is one option that is hard to get on the RX.

Marla G,
Congrats on your new purchase. I was wondering how you were able to get a Silver Sport w/ the nav system? Where do you live? The lexus website says you can't get them. Let me know thanks,
Neil

Thumbs up

My Silversport stickered at 41 and we paid 34,000. We paid $300 over invoice.
We were under the impression the nav system wasn't available with the SS so don't have it. We've lived without it to this point..but hope to get it on the 3rd RX.

SilverSport w/nav is rare. In south Fla you can get the FWD version for around $35K w/out nav and AWD w/out nav for $37K at the dealership. Congrats on your new car.
