Default RX 300 Cross bars

Does anyone else find it impossible to turn those large ***** to loosen and be able to move the crossrails? Mine wont budge. Is there a trick or secret way to get them to move?

I use both hands (actually thumbs and index fingers) to turn ***** counterclock-wise.

Tuned is right, mine are tight too but not too bad, use the two-handed method.

If you introduce some tools into the situation, be very careful!! I remember someone posting that they scratched the car when a tool slipped off the ****.

Could try using rubber for better gripping.

Maybe put a rubber glove over it.

Two hands worked for me.

Remember lefty loosey righty tighty.
