Im telling ya he needs the rotors TURNED..period!! He is going to wonder why his steering wheel is wobbling all over the place when he steps on the brakes.....but live and learn

Some how I get the sense that you can not be talked out of it.
Do your research before hand and read this thread.

Please read the disclaimer and make sure your boss hears it from you. If he has family, he himself may bow out gracefully.
Noooo . You do not contaminate the brake fluid by stuffing rag in it. Fibers can cause long term problems.
Listen to all the good advice on examining the rotors before embarking on replacing the pads.
If there is pitting and grooves, you will NOT get the braking from a new pad (loss of contact surface).
Good Luck.

GOT, others have said it better, don't do it!
If you do and I don't recommend it at all, don't forget the grease or whatever is needed to stop the d*** LEXUS brake pad slam every time one reverses direction in any RX I have had. TSB for 99 I think. They even didn't fix it on the '03, at least the one I have! I drive around parking lots and my pads slam and the MB and BMW guys look at me like what is that!! I have gotten so used to it it's like an annnoying trait of a loved one that somehow grows on you. If your boss gets in there and those pads slam around after a directional reverse, you're toast!
This is the best thread I've seen in a while . . . let us know what happens
