RX in our future: Which Year is Best?
#17
i would have to say 03 RX300 cause it came with more standard features. and it was the last year 300's came out. it just felt some damn good to drive. felt like driving a normail but it was SUV. like have the height . plus this was also my first lexus.

Personally going from the 300 to the 330 I felt like I hae been missing out on all the "cool" features like voice controlled navigation, rear camera, power rear hatch, bluetooth, smoother ride, more power. All those little things have made my personal experience better by 10 fold.

im reading all your guys opinions and its making me not want to buy a 330 and instead buy a 300
I was looking at the price range or the rx300 and found a 2002 for 28k with low miles 25k miles..
then i started looking for the 330s and found they can be found cheap
i found one 04 for 28k with 41k miles
or lower miles like 20k can be found for around 32k
the use of the suv is really just a grocery and mom suv driving not fast or sporty or even off road
so maybe i should search for 300 thanks guys

Shape/color: Personal preference.
Features: Personal preference.
Reliability: Since it is used, a lot depends upon how it was taken care off and not necessarily the manufacturing issues [not applicable on all vehicles but very valid for Lexus]
So my advice would be buy the vehicle with least amount of miles and as latest as possible. This would give you most amount of manufacturers warrantee. It does not gaurantee anything but just increases odds in your favor.

She's undecided now. She wants an RX AND a GS now ...
