Female for our RX300..
We got it for my wife. We're both only 22 yrs old too. She's petite, so she wanted the Lexus RX300 since its not big like the Navigators, Escalades, etc.
For me, I drive a Dodge Durango V8.

My wife love's her RX300. The RX300/330 is a 100% " I have arrived " woman's vehicle !

My wife drives the Rx300, I drive a 5spd Jetta. Two totally different vehicles.
But I must say I really enjoy the Rx300 drive and it is a great looking SUV. I guess when she goes for the 330 in 2 yrs, I'll keep the 300...

It seems weird that a man would drive a Jetta, typically a woman's car. And a woman would drive the RX, an SUV and typically male car. I drive the RX330 and my wife drives an Accord. She wanted the Civic more, but occasionally I drive her car and the civic is just too small for me.

True, I see more women driving RX330 than men do. And most of them are at least in their thirties and most are middle-aged. But for my family, most of the time the driver is either my father or me, so both male.

sometimes i think, I see more women drive LEXUS generally any model. as for the GX also, i see a lot of females driving it, and I thought it was made for the rough off-roading, male type of guy!

mikey00, what makes the RX330 a women's car? It doesn't have a lipstick holder instead of a lighter. It doesn't come in pink. It is a SUV. It's not small, like a Jetta or Neon. You're crazy.

MultiTasking Mom
i think what mikey is trying to point out that many SUVs have become "soccer mom" cars b/c of the kids. i am female, and i love the RX, drive it more than my husband. it's very utility-like, groceries, kids, shopping, dogs, etc. masculine-shaped, yes, but still very sexy. MUCH better looking than the MB ML or some of the other boxes out there. and it's comfortable, which is a huge plus for women. i've driven X5's and Range Rovers, and those things are beasts - they are huge and higher up and not as easy to park.
i don't have kids (yet), but the RX is great for every day type of use. it's not that big compared to other things out there, and it's built off a car platform, so it's easier to get into than many other SUVs. in any case, i see many moms in my neighborhood driving 8-seater Yukon Denalis, Escalade ESV's, and tons of Sequoias. those are very manly trucks, and i don't see many men driving them.

You said it much better than I could have. That's all the reasons why my wife likes ours so much. It doesn't take much observation to realize the bulk of RX drivers are women.
