where to buy ATF and how much it cost.

Toyota dealers (and maybe Lexus dealers) finally started selling T-IV by the quart, rather than by the 4-liter can. Not sure what it costs - I've only bought the cans in the past. Personally, that's the only kind of ATF I'd use.

I think Toyota vehicles can ONLY use T-IV. Buy it from the dealer.

There are finally some aftermarket equvialents of T-IV out there. Still, the Toyota label isn't that much more expensive (if at all), and I don't think it's worth it to gamble with the trans and the warranty.
