i bought my rx from a small dealership in california and the car has been in and out of the shop for about a month due to some check engine light and knock sensor problem. now that i need to replace the MAF sensor on the car, the dealer ship wont replace it for me and they said cuz it out of warranty, (cuz it been over a month). can someone tell me who and where do i file a complaint about the the dealership cuz the warranty should not have been over if the car has problems for the whole time it got it.
this is in california.
someone tell me to call the state board? dont know if that true tho or if they do exist.
thanks

Looking at your posting. Had a couple of questions. New or used? Certified Pre own? What year? How many miles? If it is a used RX300 with more than 50 thousand miles. I would take the car to Toyota dealer. Thats where I take my 2001 RX 300. The Lexus dealer I bought mine at is not only farther away. But the cost is double what the Toyota dealer charges.
Also on your posting. I know it is easier to abbreviate words like " 4 U " Buts its a little hard to read.
Good Luck

If you purchased your RX from a Lexus dealer, contact Lexus Customer Assistance (see contact info in the FAQ's stickied above). The Lexus organization is very responsive to these kinds of issues and will help resolve your dealer dispute quickly.
Otherwise, if you purchased from a non Lexus or independent lot, you will have to go through either BBB (usually ineffective, they protect their members) or your state Consumer Protection agency. Don't look for a resolution soon.

One quick thought, if it's not an actual Lexus dealer then try to get it fixed under powertrain warranty at a Lexus dealer. I think you'll find them much more receptive, good luck with it
You also may want to poop in their showroom.
