Anyone have or know the name of the black piece that sits on the rear bumper like a cover. I would like to get one so if anyone could let me know please as my dog is scatching mine up...Thanks

What you are looking for is Bumper Protector. Available thru Lexus part, a little cheaper from Toyota parts.

Try Sienna rear bumper protector, why buy Lexus when your dog will chew it up again?

Might want to check out "clear bra" products like Xpel and StonGard as well to see if you can get some protection for the turndown area of the bumper. That pad will only cover the flat upper portion - and the pup will probably sink his claws into the edge if he misses or slips off the pad.

I assume you're talking about the piece of black plastic glued to the top of the bumper with the Lexus logo on it. When mine had to be replaced on a 2002 RX300, it was a "bumper pad", 08475-48802. Same thing happened to my 2004 RX330 - then it's 08475-48804.

Default RX 300 Rear Bumper Protector

After you find out out how much the protector costs you'll probably find a way to keep your dog off of it. Mine kept popping-up on the ends so I decided to just buy but a new one; how much can a simple piece of plastic cost anyway. The dealer wanted about $105.00 including tax but NOT including installation. $crew them and their $90.00 an hour labor ! I just removed it from the bumper-cover, removed the 2-sided tape, cleaned it with 3M adhesive cleaner, re-applied new 3M 2-sided tape, re-installed it, and that solved the problem. Why doen't Lexus use 3M tape?

When I had my lower gray area painted black, I bought the one for the Lexus not the Sienna one (that does not curl around the edges). Had to make sure that I did not have any polish on the area so that it would stick tight. 3 years running...no problems.
