does anyone know the procedure to remove the headlights on a 99 rx300?? any "how too" or tips are appreciated, thanks

Pop the hood, remove the phillips screw that connect to the lower grill. Remove the bolt at the top bracket. Take wheel well cover off, use an extension to reach and remove two screws from inside.

Do you mean the whole headlight assembly or just the bulb? The whole assembly, I don't know, but if you mean just the bulb, that's fairly easy. Behind the assembly you'll see the wire harness leading to the bulb. Disconnect the harness, turn the bulb counterclockwise to loosen and pop out, replace the bulb with 9006 bulbs (DRL should be 9005 bulbs). Installation is reverse.

Anyway, good luck removing if it's the whole assembly.

are we talking about the entire headlight assembly, or just bulbs?

the front bumper has to come off if it's the entire headlight...

I removed my headlight w/o taking off the front bumper using instructions I posted.

yeah you're right... i just looked thru the wheel well and realized how right u were... dammit i should have asked this a month back when i swapped headlights for hid
