I have a 2001 RX300. And recently changed out the battery. Since then I get an "Beep" sound that I didnt get before the battery change. Its the same beep noise that you get when you set the preferences on the power seat. It seems to happen most of the time about 20 seconds after starting the car. Any ideas?

Does the radio work? One in a million that it does not.
Lexus are equiped with anti theft device on stereo but most don't activate it. If they do then every time the 12v is disconnected the code has to be entered again.
There could be 99999 other reasons for the beep.

The noise you here is the self destructing mechanism built in to most modern cars...
just kidding!
Have you reset the time on the clock?
Have you reset the seat presets?
Try those first.
If your like me.. the beeping will eventually cause loss of hair.
Good luck

Took me a couple hours. But I figured out the beeping noise. It has nothing to do with the battery change. My daughter figured out how to use the song list on my XM Roady. And when a song is detected. The Roady beeps. I just had to erase the song list. Good to go. Thanks for the help.
