Default Anyone else have brake whine?

The rear brake on my 99 RX has started making a high pitched whine... the only time it stops is when I brake. Anyone know what this might be?

Your pads have a wear indicator on them. This is a small metal tab that contacts the rotor and produces a squeal when you are at the end of your pad life. Have the pads checked soon or the next noise won't be as pleasant.

Do yourself a favor and replace the pad, those metal wear indicators are making metal to metal contact to your rear rotors.
