Weathertech Floorliners

Weathertech Floorliners
I got a set of Weathertech Floorliners www.weathertech.com for my 2001 RX. They sent me out a set and they fit like crap. Permanent twist to the plastic, very hard and they would hang up on the front of the seat when I moved it forward. So, I called them and they told me that they should fit perfect and sent me out another set. The second set fit much better, but still gets caught on the bottom of the seat when it is moved forward. They actually hit the seat frame. The box says 2005 and up Highlander which they say is correct.
Anyone have success with these? How about the Weathertech rubber mats or the Lexus rubber mats? Both sets of liners are going back, they just don't seem to work. I was even going to cut the edge of the liner a little, but after looking at them closer, I would have to cut a lot of material to make them work.
Thanks..KW

I can't imagine buying any car without getting the weathertechs. My original mats which are below the weathertechs look brand new since nothing leaks on them.
If you're not happy I would send them back and try the Lexus ones maybe they'll fit better.
Good Luck

Thanks for the help. I have the "Floorliners" which are different than the regular rubber mats. They are like a hard plastic tray. I think I will just exchange them for the rubber mats. Thanks..KW

hi, can you let me know if the weathertech rubber mat covers all of the second row of your RX330? I am looking to get a set of the all weather mats for my 2006 RX330 but is really concern about the second row coverage.
Thanks

If you leave the middle open and it becomes dirty you can buy some carpet spot remover and try to maintain that area as needed when it's get dirty.
Good luck

That's them, they are made of hard plastic so they don't lay on the floor flat. They pivot all over the place. I think they botched the pattern on the RX and made it with the seat either out or all the way back. Unless they fixed the design issues they are junk.
