Wait a second, two months, eh? Are you on the OEM battery, or has it been replaced??? If OEM, it might not make it for two months of sitting, especially as I think the alarm system is always active, even if you don't lock the doors with the remote...or at all for that matter. If it is a replacement battery, it might crank slowly when you get back, but I don't *think* you'll get the 'death rattle'. Regardless, I'd spring for a charger if it'll be close to an outlet. Inexpensive, and it'll keep aggrivation to a minimum after you get back.

This hit home last night when, after a couple of hours of NTN trivia at the semi-local bar & grill, my wife and I went out to my beater car, a '99 Suckazuki "Grand" Vitara, and when I turned the key, nothing. Turns out the terminals weren't quite right. I'd recently put new 'tool-less' terminals on it after the O***s corroded away, and if I held it just right while my wife turned the key, it would start. Tough to work with in the dark, but I know what it's like to need electric and not have it. Turns out modern cars won't even 'push start' if there is *no* juice. Lesson learned. And no, I'm not some redneck, relying on push starting, I just grew up having shall we say 'borderline' vehicles. If you have to shop for hilly parking spots for more than a few consecutive days, *then* you're redneck. Okay, I qualify, for a week I carried one portable wheel ramp so I could roll up onto it if I had to park somewhere flat. I was in college and dead broke in both money AND time.

You might want to back you vehicle into your garage the last time you use it. Easier to get at the battery if it has to be jumped.
