Default Sound of my exhaust

Most of you have seen my exhaust mods on my cardomain page.

This is a link to an exhaust sound clip taken this afternoon in my RX. It is the sound of my RX accelerating on to the highway with all windows rolled up.

You might have to play the link twice to get it to work without buffering problems.

Lovin' it Lexmex! That sound is music to my ears, I assume that while you're cruising it's not loud at all right? If only I can find an exhaust clip of the RMM one, or maybe I'll buy it anyways for the looks, I think it'd go well with the RX. The RMM is an axle-back correct?

The RMM is axle back, definitely not cat back. I have heard that muffler at the Lexus dealer up in San Antonio and it has a good sound.

The sound you heard on my clip only comes on flooring it or when you are cruising and then mash it.

If I just accelerate normally from a dead stop, there is a short rumble and then it tapers off to nothing.

Sounds good but i wont like to have it on my rx 300. i am actually in the market for and project ricer to fool around with on the weekend. A civic coupe, wrx, corrado, something that will not necessarily be fast but sound and look fast. I manhandled an integra Friday. i almost wet myself laughing i got 110 every time and the back off to wait for him. however, the was a guy in a beat up VW he get passing me @ over 95 while i was passing this the integra. So i followed him to the 'Spot' -read crusin. he pulled over he had a vr6 engine stuffed in an 88 body with a roll cage. that thing had more gauges in there than a 747.

I don't blame you on the sound...it takes getting used to...and that is why I like it now.

If want to see a nice VR6, take a look at my cousin's Golf, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2224711

We got some turbo and supercharged versions at my track.

He has the wing from my RX on his Golf.

This is a very short sound clip that I took of my exhaust with the sound recorder 3 feet behind the car and parallel to the rear window. Car was in park at the time.
