Question https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-1st-gen-1999-2003/197739-why-was-there-a-heated-f

I have a 2002 RX300 that has a cracked windshield. When I started to shop for a replacement, I encountered the same question: Is it heated or not? Thanks for the reply that tell me how to check. Do you have to have full coverage for the insurance to cover the cost of the replacement? I have State Farm insurance on this vehicle.

For what is covered and amount of coverage and detectable if any is in your insurance policy. These days the policy is on line. You can call your agent and discuss if you collect will it impact your premium. You can also let the replacement shop do the legwork for you. Be ready to make a selection between OEM or aftermarket.

My limited information is that in lower states only defrost from hot air was available.

Default I got my answer

Thanks for your input. I talked to my insurance company and it so happened that in FL all car insurance companies have to cover the replacement of windshield glass at no cost to the insurance holder.
