My RX is primarily my wife/ kid hauler and I don't want to take a chance on having my family stranded on the side of some highway.
Despite some saying the belt may last forever and that there is no serious damage done when belt breaks (due to non-interference engine type), the belt will still stretch and eventually require replacement.
My suggestion is get TOYOTA dealer to price replacement, you'll be surprised. It costs about 1/2 of what other car manufacturers are charging. As for the water pump, most toyota dealers say if the coolant is genuine toyota and has been changed at the recommeded intervals then no need to change water pump.
My timing belt will be changed at local toyota dealership when car hits 140,000 km for $320 CAD as quoted on my last service there for transfer case and rear diff service.
