There are many previous discussions on it, use the "Search the Forums" window at the top, you'll find lots of sound advise there. Good luck

Default New problem?

I too have a 99 is this the start of another common failure? like the hatch lifts? the D indicator?
Strut noise? I have 68k on mine, the antenna has failed yet but the right side struts make some terrible noise like the coils on the outside of the strut are hitting but only appears to be right side.
Is there any easy way to check if the struts have gone bad?

As mentioned, there's a lot of information on this topic on this forum. Also, visit a Lexus dealer parts department and talk with them about the problem. One of the dealers I visited gave me copies of instructions and views for removing the antenna mast and motor. These are the documents their service techs use.

Hey artaquio, any chance I can get a copy of those too? I want to disconnect the power to my antenna since I only use Sirius Radio and don't want the antenna constantly going up and down.

Thanks
