Wow, I wish you had it working on the top section like how you had it before. I wish I had the guts to tear into my RX's dash...

I also have a carputer in my SC, it's the best mod I've done...sometimes I wish I was in traffic so I can watch all my videos...

Yah the top part would of been neat but I bet the sun would have hit the screen and caused more glare up there. Where the screen is now it barely gets any sun on it so it is very easy to read anytime of the day I didnt tear into my dash as I bought a replacement piece on ebay and cut it up :-D

Top screen will work fine I just dont have the radio board hooked up to it now as I am waiting on a replacement to come in from ebay. I paid 80bux with shipping for one with just the rado and plastic piece. The new one I am getting is 115 and includes the little blue screen as well. Can never have too many spare parts

Cool

what was total cost of this project ? do you think the avaerage joe can take on a project like this?on a scale of 1-10 what would you rate this project?also i think the reason everyone is loving this is,because they love their 300 but they want all the up grades that the newer modles have.gonna keep mine for now!!!!

im an average joe when it comes to doing this so I would rate it a 7 because relocating the a/c controls was a pita. I dont have a pic yet since I was waiting for my new radio circuit board which should be here soon. Total cost for everything is about 600 bux, for the screen, dash piece, and gps. I did not include the pc since I had that. I amm going to work on integrating my mac mini into the lexus so that will drive the price up 800bux since I got the dual core intel mini

I am relocating the controls just waiting for a new board to come in hence no pics. What do you mean about software for a menu page?
