Default Arg! I need help/ transmission slip

Arg! I just had my 90k service done at the dealership (have 98k miles on my 1999 Rx) My 5 year 100k warranty expired 5-29-06 ( right after my 90k service)

I have noticed three times that my transmission seems to be slipping (my tach goes up but I am not gaining speed.)

I was hesitant to get the 90k service because my RX was running so well...now I am afraid that the dealership did something unintentional, and my transmission is going to die (out of warranty, of course.)

Is there anything that they could have done wrong?

The dates and milage are so close to the warranty expiration that it is worth bringing it to the dealership's attention [I am sssuming you had the extended warranty through Lexus].

So do take it to the dealership without further delay.

Actually, when I have my last drain and fill up at the dealer in 2004, I felt a few slips, checked the level and it went away, but one can never be too sure. I know change it myself and am a little more confident.

Salim is right on this one, take it back and make sure.
