There is a 1/4 mile track east of San Antonio I want to get up to in December. In addition, since I know that Houston is not that much farther over and we may want to see a Texans game, we might go over there for Christmas. One of my track buddies has a high powered Malibu he sometimes takes up there, so we may go up in a caravan for winter. Will let you know.

I want to do the turbo, but the issue with the capacity that the transmission can handle keeps creeping up in my mind for sea level runs. When I get the headers, we will see how much more it can take.

Megan Racing is developing one for the 1MZFE in Solara. An earlier version is shown here

Lexmex found this one out, I think Megan has a better design than others. Fitment is my primary concern when Megan finish the header design.

Megan really is an improvement as they have had a chance to study the JP and Xerd designs. I would rather have Megan take more time to develop these things right.

In addition, for those of you that can get away with it depending on emissions where you live, this should pass in OBDII test only states as I have not gotten any CELs related to emissions with regard to the precats or cat. In fact, when I test voluntarily here for fun, the car passes the Mexico City metro standards, which are just as stringent in California (but here a lot of people just bribe the inspector since they cannot pass for whatever reason).

Thus, headers should not be a problem either. I wish what they would go back to doing is making those types of cats that have the catalyzer on the inside of the piping as opposed to the conventional honeycomb catalytic converters. Better flow and better emissions instead of these puny precats. I would not have had to scrub them if one of them hadn´t been so pathetic with the gas.
