price ? I called the dealer price is over $1000.

That's about right for OEM glass. You can get third-party glass for about $300 installed.

Today I got PPG windshield for $ 155 with installed. It same like lexus Rx 300
of 2000. The PPG auto glass make windshield for lexus. Thanks.

it will nice if you post where you got the windsheild, it might be useful for future buyers...just a thought..

Is this out of pocket (cost to you)?
Does the windsheild say "toyota/Lexus" or it is a oem equivalent?
Any visual (not superficial but when you look through the glass) abnormatilies/abberations .. specially where the glass has a curvature?

Based on posts in other CL forum, it seems PPG are good windsheilds.

Hi,
I bought this windshield from local store in Queens, New York. They got the oem lexus windshield from PPG auto glass SKU no. 2087 and the original 2000 lexus RX 300 windshield (heated) make by PPG SKU no. 2086 only available from dealer costs about $ 1000+.
