Help! Check Engine Light on as well as VSC and trac. Trouble code read by Actron OB2 scanner. Code P1535. Manufacturer Controlled Vehicle Speed Idle Control Auxilliary Inputs. No one has ever heard of, including Actron Tech Help, and Lexus Dealer. Any ideas??

I don't see any P1535 in the book, but did you reset the check engine light afterwards and did it pop up again?

Clear the code out and as soon as you crank the engine the lights come back on. I have no choice but to take to the Lexus dealer. Actron techs don't even know what their own code scanner codes mean. If they don't know then who does? There is no 1535 code in any books either. I've read the code 2 to 3 times just to be sure I wasn't going blind.

Is there a possibility that there is an error somewhere in Actron's software? Code P1535 is very close to Code P1135. I'll bet A/F sensor. I guess I could go a step futher and check ohm reading off A/F sensor to confirm, possibly heater part of A/F senor open.

You may risk breaking a wire at the connector. The one against the firewall, sensor one-bank one, is difficult to get to.
In a pinch, if you have an Auto Zone auto store nearby, they would be glad to recheck the codes for you.

I'm going to go try another Auto Zone. Could be more updated software that will show the right code. You really don't notice any loss in performance, but on a recent trip I only got 20mpg. I'll let you know the outcome one way or another it is going to be fixed!

Hey Lexmex, I had Auto Zone check code again and it came up P1135 just as we suspected. The guy said that was MAF sensor, but he is wrong, that is A/F sensor 1 bank 1 underneath the car before the cat. right? So I guess I need to order one from oxygensensors.com. and change it. Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!
