It is a dealer item so for a new one the dealer service invoice will list the price. One can expect 10% (ball park number) discount from sponsors.
Slavage yards would be your next option.
Trying to repair the messed up servo would have been the other thing to explore. My guess is that it is an unserviceable part. Then again why give labor rates to get a patch. With the new one you get a warranty too.

Guess I'll be the first to post codes.....
Sounds like you have a defective air mix servo.
Try this:
Key Off
Push AUTO button and RECIRC button at same time and continue to hold
Turn Key on
This enters diagnostic mode which will give A/C system codes
Code 21 will be normal if no light is shining on Solar sensor on dash
Any other codes displayed will be abnormal condition.
Servos have malfunction codes. Post your results
Try this:

PLEASE........having the heat set at 80 does not guarantee you'll get warm air....at 80 you should get HOT air.
AND the thermostat has not been changed YET. That was one of my questions, Do you think it is bad or stuck open.
SOOOOOOOO there is no air in the system to purge out.
Give me another solution.
