I agree with Zombie. Best commerically available one is the Weapon-R intake (Secret Intake) with their cold air box.
Both TunedRX300 and myself have made the custom air intakes that Zombie is referring to. TunedRX300 actually incorporates the OEM airbox in his design where mine is eliminated and along with the air filter. Gobs of power, but a lot of risk in my design.

It's tough to say. I would think definitely more than 10 hp. It does make a big difference at the track as I notice the faster times on colder days whereas other vehicles will not go any faster and ramming in that cooler air pushed me twice under 17.9 at my altitude last weekend.

you should not put sharp bends in intake or exhaust setup to avoid hp loss I own Performance Shop in utah been in this game since 1997 i will post pics of our custom garret turbo on 99 rx tuned by me with healthy 389 horsepower , this thing squats down on accel GOTTA SEE !
