Interior/exterior lights flicker , you guys know Y ? i'm assuming too much resistance somewhere , - / + cables ?

More to do with voltage generated and change in load.

No ill effects or reduced life time of electrical equipment. Drive lamp in cosole is the only electrical part with shorter life.

I havn't noticed any flickering on my RX300. Is your battery due for replacement? This could possibly be a first sign. Do they "flicker" when engine isn't running or just when engine is running? All the time, or just sometimes?

Flickering with motor running , why some people upgrade their groung cable to thicker one ?

My lights used to flicker big time near the end of my last battery. Voltage drops were so bad that the transmission had problems shifting out of 2nd & 3rd gear and the cd player would randomly turn off. After replacing the battery, all problems went away.

I agree with Mwbuck, the battery is the likely problem (i.e., the resistance would be internal battery resistance).
