Front Licence Plate
Since i live in California and its required to have a front plate, but i hate the stock bracket because it looks ugly and only holds the top half of the plate is there another bracket that would fit? I know i could probably get away without one and i currently dont have one but im just curious. thanx Paul

Yes, Toyota for some reason thinks people don't have license plates with lower mounting holes. Toyota is famous for not providing lower mounting brackets, and because of this, many times a typical license plate will scratch the paint.
I wanted some type of plate for the front of my 4Runner, but because a regular license plate scratches the painted bumper, I just went to the dealer and bought a chrome plate that says 4Runner on it. It is about half the size of a regular plate.
Toyota/Lexus may sell a frame that will provide lower mounting brackets, I do not know. Check with your dealership.

This is one thing that Toyota does that can be a little annoying. Otherwise, they're near perfect.
