Shifter lights and "D" light out...

About month ago I had to drive in my wife’s 2000 RX300AWD through really deep water (I think at least 2 ft deep or deeper). After that my air conditioner quit working (not the fan, just air), but started again after I restarted the car in my garage. Along with air, shifter lights and “D” light on the dashboard went out. Can somebody guide me to where I can find the fuse for shifter light and for lights on the dashboard? I suspect that the problem either is in the fuse or it is some kind of short. Any idea what I can do to fix the lights?
Thank you in advance for help.

I think it is not the easiest task to replace “D” lamp. It may require disassembly the dashboard. How did you do that? Do you have any procedure to share?
Mean time, it seems to me that lamp may not be the only problem, if at all. As I described, shifter lights went out along with “D” light at the same time, after I drove through the water. There is something there, but where? If it is short, can somebody knowledgeable to guide me to where to look for it?
Any advise appreciated.

I agree with nwizard, the "D" light bulb just burned out. This is a very common problem on the RX. Here is a link for the "D" bulb procedure:

I agree with HarrierAWD, I like the D light off. I used to find it annoying when I would be driving at night. Even at the track, I like to have the dash lights as dim as possible for performance reasons (every bit counts when you go down to .xxx of a second) and for concentrating on the staging (launch) lights.

A suggestion for those that replace the light -- consider replacing other ones at the same time. I would replace any light that is on when the car is running or one that is on when the lights are on. No reason to have to go back in again...

I did not get to replace the light bulb this weekend, as t is too darn cold here, in Chicago right now. I will attempt to do it next weekend.
However, I still cannot find the answer to why the light on the center panel with the shifter (not the one on the dashboard where speedometer is) was out at the same time as the “D” light and how to replace it. I did search the forum and no avail. I suspect that both lights went out due to some shortage, when I drove through the deep water. Any suggestions on second light, please? How to replace and what is the part number? Does anyone know what can short out if driving through deep water that would lead to my situation?
Thank you.
